An Open House for the Barney Allis Redevelopment project has been set for Monday, February 10, 2020.

Kansas City is re-imagining the Plaza at Barney Allis into an active, vibrant greenspace for residents, workers, and visitors to relax and play year-round, anchored in the heart of downtown. Simultaneously, the City is committed to fixing the Parking at Barney Allis by providing adequate replacement parking and access to multi-modal transit options.

Visitors are welcome to come-and-go any time between 4-7 p.m. to learn about future plans for the Plaza, Parking and Perimeter of Barney Allis. The project team will also be available to answer questions.

Transit Options and Parking

  • KC Streetcar: Bartle Hall is three blocks to the east of the KC Streetcar line, between the Metro Center stop at 12th and Main, and Power & Light stop at 14th and Main.
  • Bus: Bartle Hall is in close proximity to the RideKC bus stops near 14th and Broadway Streets, and 12th and Central Streets.
  • Parking: Parking validation will be available for the Auditorium Parking Garage.

How to get to Room 2104 in Bartle Hall:

  • Enter Bartle Hall from Central Street.
  • Head to Lobby 2100, which is at the northwest corner of 13th & Central Streets.
  • From there, signage will direct you to the Open House in room 2104.
  • View graphics of the layout of Bartle Hall.
